Owner/ Director/License Holder Christine started her childcare career in 2006 when she opened Wee Care Daycare. She believes in providing safe, reliable, high-quality childcare experiences to the Grande Prairie Community.

Director Barbara began in childcare in 2010. She has experience in various settings, including family support, childcare, domestic violence, and crisis. Barbara is certified as a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator. She enjoys seeing the unique personalities that each child develops as they grow.

Full-time Childcare Coordinator Ashley started her childcare career in 2020. She has a background in Social Work with past experiences in youth care. Ashley is certified as a Level 2 Early Childhood Educator. Her favorite aspect of working in childcare is being able to watch the children learn and grow.

Drop-in Childcare Coordinator Brooke started her career in childcare in 2015. She is certified as a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator. Brooke believes the first five years of childhood impact a person’s whole life. Brooke enjoys being a part of those first five years.

Educator Brenda-Lee started her childcare career in 2003. She is certified as a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator. She has family home and center childcare experience. Brenda-Lee’s favorite aspect of working in childcare is getting to see the unique personalities grow and develop in the children.

Educator Danika started her career in childcare in 2021. She is certified as a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator. Danika has a passion for helping children grow. She enjoys being a role model for the children.

Educator Edna has been in childcare since 2021. Edna loves working with young children because they remind her how amazing the world is. Edna enjoys seeing the excitement in the children as she sings and reads to them. Edna is certified as a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator.

Educator Elizabeth began her childcare career in 2022. She is certified as a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator. She enjoys getting to know the children and their personalities. Elizabeth’s favorite part of working in childcare is walking into work every morning and seeing all the smiling faces.

Educator Gaylene has been in the childcare field since 2006; she is certified as a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator. Gaylene enjoys experimenting with messy play with the children in her care. During her free time, she loves crafting and spending time with her family.

Educator Gem started her career in childcare in 2009. Gem has experience in nursing, social work, and childcare. Gem enjoys creating and sharing new experiences with the children. She enjoys being a part of their developmental journey. Gem is certified as a Level 2 Early Childhood Educator.

Educator Kayli started her career in childcare in 2016. She has experience in childcare centers plus preschool and early intervention programs. Kayli enjoys being a part of the children’s learning and development. Kayli is certified as a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator.

Educator Kaitlyn began her career in childcare in 2018. Kaitlyn likes being a role model to the children and supporting them with their learning and development. Kaitlyn is certified as a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator.

Educator McKayla began her childcare career in 2017. She is certified as a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator. McKayla enjoys seeing the excitement children get from learning new things.

Cook Meghan began her career in childcare in 2010. She is certified as a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator. Meghan has a huge passion for working with the families within our community.

Educator Michelle started her career in childcare in 1996. Michelle has worked with youth and in family and center-based childcare. Michelle enjoys having the opportunity to see the world from the perspective of children. Michelle is certified as a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator.

Educator Nancy started her career in childcare in 2019. Nancy had always wanted to be a teacher to help shape the minds of young children. Nancy spent years volunteering before accepting a childcare position. Nancy is certified as an Level 1 Early Childhood Educator.

Educator Roma has been in childcare since 2020. She is certified as a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator. Roma enjoys the rewarding feeling she gets from watching the children grow and learn. She enjoys meeting new families and learning about their culture.

Educator Tarryn started her career in childcare in 2017. She is certified as a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator. Tarryn enjoys being part of a person’s first five years of life. Her favorite part of childcare is being part of the children’s learning.

Educator Tiffany began her childcare career in 2022. Working in childcare brings Tiffany joy. She enjoys helping the children learn and seeing them grow into unique individuals. Tiffany is certified as a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator.
